Quality you deserve.
MarinAire began with a simple design philosophy: essential features like pressure gauges and sound shielding should be standard—not paid upgrades. Founded in 2007, the company was built from real-world marine HVAC experience and developed by one of the industry’s leading HVAC engineers.
That philosophy continues today through years of refinement, hands-on testing, and real-world feedback. Each system undergoes multiple testing stages to ensure reliable performance, quiet operation, and long-term durability. The result is a marine air conditioning system designed to be dependable, serviceable, and straightforward—focused on what truly matters, without unnecessary complexity.

- Built-in sound shield for quieter operation
- Complimentary touchscreen Wi-Fi thermostat included
One thing that struck me was how quiet the unit was compared to others I have heard on boats. Even though we tend to take our air conditioning for granted now, it is still one the best investments we have made.

Research, Testing & Quality
MarinAire products are developed through continuous research and development, combining real-world marine experience with rigorous engineering standards. Each unit is tracked on the assembly line using RFID technology, allowing us to identify, monitor, and record the specifications of every system throughout the manufacturing process.
Before packaging, every product completes an eight-stage testing process on the assembly line. Our manufacturing facility includes four dedicated laboratories: two performance testing labs, one safety testing lab, and one noise level and sound pressure lab. These testing stages ensure each system meets our standards for performance, reliability, and quiet operation. Only high-quality materials and components are used in the construction of every MarinAire product.
