5 of 5 Great product! Great Customer Service September 10, 2024
Reviewer: Jennifer Ludwig from Ocean Springs, MS United States
Had a great experience ordering this equipment.  Customer service reached out to ensure we were getting the right product so that we wouldn't have the hassle of it not fitting, not being the right unit, etc.  We've already got it installed and it is keeping our vessel at a cool 70°F as we speak!

5 of 5 AC August 12, 2024

I am replacing a split ac unit with this self contained unit. This is a bigger job than I thought. Unit is going on the bridge so a lot of making the new unit fit. Much wire and plumbing to the bridge. Probably going to be in the heating mode before I get it running. I want to thank your people for helping me through my questions.

5 of 5 16,000 BTU A/C August 8, 2024

I replaced my air conditioner in my Silverton 34C with a MARINAIRE 16,000BTU 110-120V. The shipping was a 3 day process. Installation was relatively easy. The built in humidistat did not work. I had very inconsistent thermostat reading causing the unit not to work properly. MARINAIRE technicians had me swap out the built in humidistat with the remote humidistat. The unit runs as it should now. It’s been a month now and I am still waiting for a replacement humidistat for the faulty original. The unit has been working properly since the switch. I recommend the unit as it cools the inside area nicely on 90 degree days.

4 of 5 Easy August 4, 2024
Reviewer: Jonathan Spivack from cherry hill, NJ United States
Easy Transaction,  had a series or questions that were answered on 2 separate calls.  Both guys that hoped me were great amd easy to talk to.  Placed the order and 3 days later was sitting in my garage.

All that said yesterday was not a fun day installing it, but it's cold as can be and that's what I wanted.

5 of 5 Replacement July 23, 2024
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I finally replaced the original unit in my 79 Chris Craft I live aboard. I was hesitant because of the $2k price tag and was already used to closing off rooms to maintain heat/cold in any given living space. I got pretty good at blocking windows/portholes, opening hatches and turning on fans then closing hatches and reversing fans, etc. I bit the bullet so my wife and Great Dane could be comfortable aboard.
Night. And. Day.
I expected it to blow cold but I did not expect to be able to open the shades again, open all the doors, and have every liveable space be a comfortable temperature and humidity level while maintaining so much sunlight that I love about this boat.
Im excited to see how well it does when it comes to heat in reverse cycle as I live aboard year round but I imagine its going to do such a good job at that that I wont be using the diesel heater so much, or again, sealing off windows and rooms.

Well worth the $2k to make a space fully livable again.

5 of 5 My AC Nightmare July 15, 2024
Reviewer: Leslie Streitfeld from Cherry Hill, NJ United States
On the hottest weekend of the summer so far, tge Air Conditioner on my 2008 Bayliner decides to die. Not only did it ruin the weekend, but it also looked as if it might also ruin the rest of the summer as well. After doing alot of research, I found the MarinAire website. Not only did it give me the data I needed to make a decision, it also ended up being far less expensive that I thought. It shipped as stated and arrived right on time. I was also very fortunate to find someone to to the installation the very next weekend. Lucky me.

The installation went smoothly and unit works perfectly .  I am extremely happy and would recommend a MarinAire Marine Air Conditioner to anyone looking for quality, features and price.

4 of 5 MarinAire 16,000 BTU Air conditioner July 8, 2024
Reviewer: John Fase from Farmington Hills, MI United States
The response to my purchase submission was quick, with appropriate questions regarding the application.
It was shipped from Miami to Michigan promptly. But Fedex was a bit of a mess. They sent notice that it would be arriving Friday between 10am - 2pm. It did not show up until the next day. This would not have been a problem if it were being shipped to my home, but it was a friend home, and they were not home. They insisted that a signature was required, yet they delivered it the next day without notice, and no signature, just leaving it on a porch in clear view form the road. I was an hours drive away at that time. MarinAire attempted to get it redirected the day before, but FEDEX dropped the ball on that one, and delivered it to the first address.  Just an FYI.
